Sending Sweets and Food This Festive Season? Read This First
Aditya kitukale · 17 Jun 2026

Festive season means parcels of sweets, dry fruits, and gifts criss-crossing the country. A little planning keeps them from arriving as crumbs.
Choose stable foods
Dry sweets, namkeen, chocolates (in cooler months) and dry fruits travel well. Avoid anything with high moisture or a short shelf life.
Pack for pressure and heat
- Seal mithai boxes inside a zip bag to contain leaks.
- Cushion the box so the contents can't shift.
- Label as fragile — and ship early in the week.
Book the faster service
For perishables, paying for quicker transit is worth it. Track actively and make sure someone is available to receive it.
